This Document is for the users of listservs.
Subscribing to a list:
To subscribe to a listserv, visit its mailman info page, which can be access from the main page by clicking on the list name, you will then type in your email address and click on subscribe. You will be required to confirm your membership by replying to the email that is sent to you once you click the subscribe button. If the list is a private list, meaning the administrator must approve you before you are allowed to post and receive the lists email, you will not recieve the confirmation, as the administrator approving you will act as the confirmation.
Unsubscribing from a list
To unsubscribe from a listserv, visit the lists mailman info page, which can be accessed from the main page by clicking on the lists name. Scroll to the bottom of this page and you will see an input box and a button next to it that says "unsubscribe or edit options" enter the email address that you are subscribed to the list under and press the unsubscribe button, you will then be prompted for your password, if you do not know your password, follow the steps on retrieving your password below. Once you enter your password you should be unsubscribed from the listserv.
Finding out your password, or Changing your password
To find out your password visit the lists mailman info page, enter your email address into the space for unsubscribing or editing options, press the unsubscribe or edit options button, you will go to the options page, scroll down half way and you should see "Forgot your password?" click on that button and your password will be emailed to you. From this same menu you can also change your password.
